Halloween

Halloween is one of the most traditional activities as it is included in our annual programme. It is an Anglo-Saxon event, bringing to mind a tradition that, until very recently, was not rooted in Portuguese culture.

Besides the traditional masks, Halloween is also marked by ghost story competitions (written in English by students), by scary story-telling (written by teachers and older students and aimed at younger students), as well as contests for the most ‘horrendous cake’, pumpkin carving and trick-or-treat.
